Super banana smoothie

Now that the mango days are going to be over soon, it’s time to play with the banana smoothie. So here I made a plain banana smoothie into a powerful one by adding superfoods – Chia seeds and cacao nibs.

Recipe:
Blend 1 banana 🍌 in a glass of milk 🥛 and add a tbsp 🥄 each of chia seeds and cacao nibs. I used Health First chia seeds I bought from @khadinatural store and organic cacao nibs from @happyhealthymeorganics .

White Chia seeds are known to be super food because they are a rich source of fiber, protein, calcium, omega fatty acids, and are loaded with antioxidants. They don’t add to the taste though, but since they are an incredible source of energy, they are a perfect ingredient for breakfast smoothies.

Cacao nibs on the other hand are the most natural form of chocolate 🍫, least processed and they taste like dark chocolate. They contain magnesium, potassium, fibre, antioxidants and iron. Cacao is known to improve mood, increase alertness and provide better sense of wellbeing.

This power smoothie gets its sweetness naturally from banana 🍌and cacao brings a slight bitter taste of dark chocolate 🍫, while adding crunchiness to the smoothie texture.
